Accuracy of Information
Clients are responsible for the accuracy of information submitted to Advanced Receivables.
Submitting an account for collection does not, by itself, establish that an alleged obligation is legally enforceable. Advanced Receivables does not provide legal opinions regarding the validity, enforceability, or collectability of a particular obligation unless legal services are separately provided by appropriately licensed counsel.
Clients should consult their own legal counsel regarding questions concerning contracts, statutes of limitation, litigation, legal rights, or the enforceability of an obligation.
Disputed Accounts
If an account or portion of an account is disputed, Advanced Receivables may request supporting documentation from the client and may suspend or modify collection activity while the matter is reviewed.
Clients should promptly notify Advanced Receivables of any known dispute, payment, credit, return, adjustment, bankruptcy filing, legal action, settlement, or other circumstance that may affect the amount or status of an account.
Legal Action
Advanced Receivables is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
Where appropriate and authorized, an account may be referred to independent legal counsel for consideration of legal remedies. Any legal services are provided by the applicable attorney or law firm and are subject to a separate attorney-client relationship.
Advanced Receivables does not guarantee that legal action will be recommended, initiated, or successful.
No Guarantee of Recovery
Collection results vary based on the facts and circumstances of each account.
Factors may include the age of the account, documentation, amount owed, debtor financial condition, applicable law, prior collection activity, available contact information, and the debtor’s willingness or ability to resolve the account.
Accordingly, Advanced Receivables makes no guarantee regarding the amount or timing of any recovery.
Applicable Law
Collection activity is conducted subject to applicable laws and regulations governing the particular account, parties, transaction, and jurisdiction.
Because collection laws can vary by jurisdiction and circumstances, information contained on this website should not be interpreted as legal advice or as a representation that a particular collection method is legally available for every account.
